I got this at a recent Revelry and was pretty enthralled by it. Mostly, I’m not the type of person that can smoke FULL pre-rolls of pure flower. As I’ve discussed in my “Review Methods” page, I take apart all pre-rolls and decant them into jars to titrate a dose as needed. But with a THC content this low, I could…in theory…enjoy half a pre-roll and put it out. Y’know, like a normal consumer. I’m reviewing this one as a spliff but let’s see whether I found my new huckleberry in terms of actually burning a whole pre-roll down all by my lonesome.
Strain name: Unknown
Strain type: Hybrid
Percentage: 11% THC / 9% CBD
Date of production: Unknown
Date of testing (if applicable): Unknown
Where Purchased (if applicable): Editorial Consideration
Price (if applicable): Editorial Consideration
Amount smoked: .75 grams
Grind (if applicable): Medium grind. Like a drip coffee grind.
Aroma: It smells like loam and dill. Seriously, why do I keep getting dill? What terpene is that? I should look it up but I’m too zooted. Anyway, it’s a very earthy scent.
Taste: Earthy and kinda bitter. Might be the tobacco in the spliff though.
High: This is an interesting one. I wasn’t expecting much out of it, at 11% THC, but it surprised me. It’s definitely living up to the name Lifter. I’m cool, calm, and collected but very much feeling creative. Conversations flow smoothly, thought processes are firing on all cylinders, and I’m just ready to do stuff. It really puts a pep in your step, all right. Not too shabby.
So here’s the deal, I like this stuff…and I don’t. To start, it takes a LOT of it to actually work, as it tests low on the THC register, so if you’re looking to get absolutely interstellar, this ain’t for you. If you’re a seasoned smoker, this probably ain’t it either, chief. And for the price that it costs for two of them (a total of 1.5g), it’s an…okay deal. I’ve found it to be around $20 – $22 with a cursory search which, I feel, is too high. Granted, it IS a 1:1 ratio so this does have a niche. This stuff, truth be told, isn’t rec cannabis, it’s medicine for physical ailments if you’re into that stuff. It’s got enough CBD in it to help with symptoms and enough THC in it to boost your mood but it’s not like the absolute infused rockets I’ve been sampling lately that are just trying to get you into orbit. This is a functional medicine and I can appreciate that. So it’s a bit of a mix here. I DON’T like it as a recreational product but as a medicine, I LOVE it (even if it doesn’t work for me). It allows you to be functional but pain-free without being blotto. I’d like to try their more…elevated strains in the future as the flower itself was actually quite good. Wanna see what other chops they got in the more high-speed areas of cannabis.
