I got these at a recent Revelry and, frankly, had been too scared to try them. After my little foray into infused pre-rolls, I was wary of this one. I knew that I would be tempting a fickle mistress of THC with one of these after my Chernobyl experience. But I put on a brave face, dear readers. I did it for you. I decided it was time to give this a try not too long ago. I was in a rough patch in terms of pain and wanted something to give me a little mental boost to help me white-knuckle through it until I could get antibiotics for the infection. So I dipped into the humidified stash and pulled out this. What did I think of it? Well…

Grind (if applicable): Medium coarse. I’m guessing the infusion of distillate makes things kinda clump up.
Aroma: No discernible aroma. These things ARE old but they’re what I got.
Taste: Earthy, piney, and straight up cannabis flavor. Nothing special.
High: The high on this one is a tricky little devil. I dunno what the ratio of sativa to indica this is but if I had to guess, it’s about 70:30. It’s got the effortless ability to get things done and be a functional human being but also you’re incredibly zen while doing it. It’s a nice high. Does it stand out at one of the better highs I’ve ever had? No. It’s pretty middle of the road for a sativa or sativa-leaning hybrid.
Overall, the high on this one is just a middle of the road high. It’s enjoyable, sure, but it’s nothing fancy. However, what would make me reach for it every time is the fact that this is the ONLY strain combination (bear in mind, this does have unknown provenance distillate and a terpene blend to it) that even remotely touches my pain. Normally, if I get punch-through pain on my fentanyl patches, no amount of cannabis would even touch the pain that I’m feeling. It’s like molten metal flowing through my body. But this…this calmed the storm. This quelled the fires and quenched the furnace. This WORKED. So, naturally, I want some. Unfortunately, I cannot find any evidence of Jetty pre-rolls being sold in NY anymore. I just don’t think they sell them here anymore. Which -really- sucks because I love this stuff. It’s the only thing that’s worked for me, pain wise, in the last…3 years of trying cannabis? Only thing. So if you see this out there, buy it buy it buy it. It’s so worth it.
