Supporting veterans is an easy thing for me. It takes no huge leap for me to do that. Hell, if things had worked out the way I was thinking, I’D be a vet. I was thinking of joining the Marine Corps for a bit until I realized…oh yeah…my body is absolute garbage. I even tried to get a job at Picatinny Arsenal after realizing that I’d never make the cut but that didn’t pan out either. Ah, the dreams of youth. Anyway, I like supporting veterans because A) it’s the right thing to do and B) most of them are cool as hell anyway. So it was an easy thing to support Leadfarmer once I saw it was in local shops. I mean, c’mon, the tube has “MAKES THE GRASS GROW” (BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD) written on it, it’s got a skull with NODs (QTNVGs to be exact), and it’s cannabis. How can I, a military obsessed little nerd, go wrong here? But did I go wrong? Here’s the review:
Strain name: MAC 1 (Cap’s Cut)
Strain type: Hybrid (50:50)
Percentage: 23.68%
Date of production: 9/1/25
Date of testing (if applicable): N/A
Where Purchased (if applicable): Grounded
Price (if applicable): $11.95
Amount smoked: 1 gram
Grind (if applicable): Fine but even. Almost like sugar granules.
Aroma: Lemony/limey, sour goodness. It’s got a classic citrus twang with a hint of some sour-y funk to it.
Taste: Lavender, lemon, and pine. What a stunner. It boldly compliments the tobacco in the spliff with some heady notes. It’s VERY nice.
High: Pretty solid. It’s got what you want from a hybrid and really doesn’t lean either particular way. It’s present in the head and body both, giving a warm glow to them. You’re pretty talkative and capable but also chill and vibing. A great strain for daily work, it blends the two types seamlessly into one gentle wallop of a high. My only problem is the high doesn’t last too long; just under two hours-ish at my tolerance which is a short duration. But it’s pleasant when it’s on, I can tell you that much.
I have to say, I kinda like it. The high itself is pretty nice and merges the best of both worlds together to form a very utilitarian, all-situations kind of high. It’s equally good chilling on the couch watching cartoons as it is in the office writing or something. It’s clearly good genetics grown well. Finally, a straight hybrid that I like! My only gripe is that it really doesn’t last long which I can’t fathom why. I only get an hour and a half to two hours out of my (admittedly measly) standard dose where others would net three hours or more. But it’s good stuff regardless of that and it’s evident great care has been given in cultivating this stuff. So, I give it a tentative recommend, provided you buy in bulk.
